My Story

Hi, I’m Owen — a college CS student who always felt overwhelmed by money. All the apps out there where missing something, too cluttered, or too boring to use. I wanted something simple, clean, fast, and AI that was actually helpful.

So in Fall 2025, I started building Wealtho as a personal project — a futuristic, AI-powered finance tool that makes money management feel effortless. No ads, no selling data, no corporate nonsense. Just a tool that helps you stay in control.

Why I Built Wealtho

I’ve always been obsessed with tech, and building things that feel “too big for one person to make.” But I also care a lot about privacy and security. Most finance tools don’t tell you what they’re doing behind the scenes.

Wealtho is different. It’s built with transparency from day one:

• No selling your data — ever
• No creepy tracking or behavioral profiling
• Bank connections handled securely with providers like Plaid
• Clear, simple tools that just work

My goal is to build the cleanest, most trustworthy personal finance companion on the internet. Not a bank. Not a replacement for your accountant. Just a modern dashboard that helps you understand your money at a glance.

The Future of Wealtho

I’m building Wealtho publicly — feature by feature — starting with budgets, manual transactions, visual dashboards, an AI Chatbot . Over time, I plan to bring:

• Optionally connected your bank account via Plaid
• A mobile app for iOS and Android
• Smarter spending predictions
• Goal tracking and wealth growth projections
